Make yourself at home
On arrival you will be welcomed and personally shown to your room – they are all named after Cornish Saints.
The colour scheme in all the rooms takes in their views of waves or coastal skies, in a relaxing wash of delicate duck egg blue with deep aquamarine notes. Some of our rooms enjoy panoramic views of Penzance Harbour and across to the iconic St Michael’s Mount. These views have come to the fore in our new interiors.
Single Rooms
The perfect room for those travelling solo or as part of a group. Compact and bijoux but still equipped with all the luxuries. Although single, it is not standard, we have 3 single room types to choose from. We appreciate how important a good night’s rest is, so our singles are a little larger than the norm.
Classic Double or Twin Rooms
At Hotel Penzance we have a range of double rooms with some offering sea views across Mount's Bay. They comprise of a double bed, en-suite bath/shower room and large window with fantastic view. These rooms are light, stylish and designed to ‘bring the outside in’ with a delicate wash of duck egg and deep aquamarine notes.
Out twin rooms are offset by the space and serenity on offer. Light floods through the large windows and the fresh sea breeze can be welcomed in.
Superior Double or Twin Rooms
Spacious contemporary or period styled rooms with sublime sea views from St Michael’s Mount to the Lizard Peninsula and front seats for the beautiful morning sunrise. Two ground floor rooms have a wet room and two first floor rooms have walk-in drench showers. The remainder have a shower over bath.

Stylish dual aspect double or twin room on the first floor with sublime panoramic sea views across Mount's Bay and Penzance Harbour. Offering front seats of the beautiful morning sunrise. Two first floor rooms with walk-in drench showers.
Ultimate relaxation
After a quick unpack enjoy a relaxing tipple on our sun terrace whilst admiring the boats and sea sports in the bay below, or a dip in our open-air pool when the clime is warmer. Our hilltop setting provides sweeping views of Penzance harbour and St Michael's Mount. Early risers will be treated to a ‘pinch yourself’ sunrise over the waters of Mount’s Bay.
